Our Founder President
Late Col Sunil Deshpande VSM is the Architect of Prahar Samaj Jagurti Sanstha. He was commissioned in 2nd Maratha Kali Panchwin in 1964, took active part in 1965 Indo-Pak war in the Battle of Hussainiwala and 1971 Indo-Pak war in the Battle of Sakargarh. He has written military advisors for the movie ‘Prahar’, which was released in the year 1991. The actor of Hindi Cinema Shri Nana Patekar was the Director of the movie and he has also acted in it. After the completion of the movie Prahar, he decided to take pre-mature retirement from the Army in 1993 and work in the society to spread the message of the movie.
Our Director
Flight Lieutenant Shivali Deshpande (Retd) is the Secretary of Prahar Samaj Jagurti Sanstha and Director of Prahar Defence Academy. She was commissioned in the Indian Air Force as a Pilot Officer for the Short Service Commission. She was the first girl in the country to command a passing-out parade at the Air Force Academy. She provides expert guidance to "Prahar Wadsaleeda Military School, a venture of Prahar Organisation, Conducts residential and non-residential adventure camps for school children, MBA students and also for corporate sectors.
